A planned solar farm set to be built on 22 acres of land near Blackawton, Devon, will feature extensive security measures installed around it, including a 2.4m (8ft) high metal fence and cameras on posts 2.2m (7ft) high.
According to a media news report on the matter, the solar farm has received planning permission from the South Hams District Council and will feature 70 solar panels capable of producing 3 megawatts (MW) of power.
Despite the enhanced security measures, the 22-acre site with 70 solar panels will be "visually unobtrusive" said the applicants, Padero Solar, who also added that the cameras were "standard" practice and would be "looking at the ground".
