Metal bollards installed in High Wycombe to protect railway bridge

Several new bollards have been installed near a railway bridge in High Wycombe in a bid to protect drivers and train passengers from possible crashes, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

Working alongside Network Rail, the Transport for Bucks structures team have put around eight new posts in place on Priory Avenue, close to Wycombe Museum.

The purpose of the new bollards is to prevent vehicles from crashing into the bridge – and possibly onto the railway line which runs alongside the road – protecting both drivers and train passengers.
