New barrier at Barry car park to prevent nuisance behaviour

product-autobarriers New barrier at Barry car park to prevent nuisance behaviourHopes are high that a new car park barrier will eliminate nuisance behaviour in the vicinity of a car park in Barry, Wales, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The Vale Council is set to install a barrier at the Knap car park after being lobbied by its neighbours and several councillors, the source could reveal.

Vale and town councillor, Steffan Wiliam said: “This will serve to protect residents of Birch Grove and the Lakeside businesses at night.

“Until now, the lack of a barrier and any CCTV meant that people were able to camp overnight, make lots of noise and fly tip without hindrance. Local residents and businesses were left feeling very vulnerable – a fact that was made very clear at the last annual general meeting of the Knap Action Group.”
