Anti-social behaviour caused by vandals has forced a parish council to put forward plans for building a 2.4 metre-high security fence around a section of their village hall, a news report in the local media has revealed.
The Newark and Sherwood District Council green lighted the application, and as a direct result, more than 60 metres of weldmesh fencing, with four access gates, will run along the side of the Bilsthorpe Village Hall building where there is a small car park and several access points. The fencing will also be painted black to help integrate into the surrounding buildings.
