Marlborough Airport in New Zealand has just announced the completion of its parking system overhaul, carried out as a response to public concern regarding the speed of their previous machines.
The main problem was related to the functioning speeds of previous ticketing machines, which was considered inadequate, especially for customers rushing to catch their flights, a news report in the local media reveals.
The installation of the new machines, which cost AUD$140,000, will however bring about a slight increase in parking costs, from $8 a day to $10 a day, or $1 an hour for up to five hours.
